I am a composer, arranger and musician from southeast England. Growing up in the Hampshire countryside, I began playing the piano at the age of six and, some years later, started writing my own compositions.

Since studying Music and English at Cardiff University, I have released two records of solo piano music, co-founded a soundtrack composition duo and performed in a number of ensembles on both piano and guitar. My compositions, performances, songs and orchestrations have received airplay on a variety of stations including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio Wales.

This site is mainly focussed on my solo composition and arrangement work. Please follow the links below for the websites of the other projects I am involved in and get in touch at rob@robertswordmusic.com.
